Remote Internships:
Becoming a Film Fatales intern is a unique and exciting opportunity to be a part of a highly respected organization in the film industry. After a brief training period, there are many different ways to get involved. Our Events team produces monthly panel discussions and social mixers; our media team creates a weekly newsletter, monthly podcast and daily posts on social media; our programming team recommends filmmakers for funding and screening opportunities; our fundraising team hosts our annual online auction; and our outreach team organizes a mentorship program and researches underrepresented filmmakers to support. Interns are invited to attend as many of our events as they would like.
Attendance is mandatory at our weekly team meeting on Zoom and interns are expected to contribute 5-10 hours on their own time throughout the week. We ask for a total commitment of at least 6 months, and that all tasks be completed in advance of the weekly meeting. Film Fatales offers school credit and paid internships through the Evolve program, MOME program, Brown University, and more. We also offer volunteer opportunities for people of all backgrounds and experience levels.
