Film Fatales is a 501c3 non profit arts organization and talent discovery platform which supports a membership community of over a thousand feature film and television directors of all marginalized genders. We advocate for hiring equality and inclusive programming practices by working with key decision makers to expand the talent pool and raise the visibility of underrepresented creators.

Location: This is a remote position. Our team works on a flexible schedule in the Pacific time zone.

Compensation: The annual compensation is [Amount] for a [Amount] hour week. Determined by organizational equity, experience, and qualifications. Non-exempt.

Position Description: Film Fatales is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to join as an integral member of our ambitious grassroots team. This position is a unique and exciting opportunity to contribute to the direction and growth of a highly respected organization in the film industry. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a demonstrated interest in gender equity and solid knowledge of the independent film industry. This position will report directly to the Executive Director and cover a wide array of responsibilities. It requires strong organizational skills, an attitude of openness and learning, and an eagerness to grow with a team that is passionate about putting our values into practice.

Responsibilities Include:

• Updating our program database and maintaining filmmaker information.
• Communicating with filmmakers and industry executives
• Drafting weekly newsletters and creating event invitations
• Maintaining the general inbox and email correspondence
• Managing and training a rotating team of volunteers
  Providing general administrative support

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and a willingness to collaborate
• Skilled in effective communication and relationship building skills
• Familiarity with Google Suite, AirTable, and Mailchimp is a plus
• Strong ethics and respect for a diversity of thought, background, and perspective
