Born in Texas and raised on the east coast, Jenny attended California Institute of the Arts outside Los Angeles before studying Shakespeare in London. She studied writing and directing at Bryn Mawr College and has acted in film and television.

KITCHEN HELP, was written and directed by Jenny as part of a protest for immigration reform and against the declaration of war against Iraq in February 2003; it was her first produced screenplay. The film premiered at SXSW Film Festival in 2009 as part of a local Austin filmmaker's platform. A Texas native, she has completed numerous other stage and screenplays, including an adaptation of Jacob Wassermann's book Caspar Hauser which was originally performed off-Broadway. The short ELOISE AT LARGE was written about a young homeless woman in a desert town and shot in Temecula and Barstow, CA.

She is currently completing a documentary, LOVE FROM LOMPOC, a true story about the economic corruption of the political and justice systems in America, developing a series and going into pre-production on a new film. She lives in Los Angeles.
