Julie Bridgham

Julie Bridgham is an award winning documentary filmmaker, and was the Director and Producer for the multi-award winning documentary feature “The Sari Soldiers,” for which she received the Nestor Almendros Prize for courage and commitment in human rights filmmaking, and both a Sundance and IFP Documentary Fellowship. She has directed and/or produced for numerous documentary series that have aired on CBS, BBC, the Discovery Channel, TLC, and the Travel Channel. Currently, Julie is directing a documentary with the United Nations International Labor Organization on women migrant workers from Nepal, and is the Executive Producer for the feature documentary “Drawing the Tiger.” She is also the Documentary Programmer for the Brooklyn Film Festival and Co-chair of the Documentary Chapter of Film Fatales.
