Katherine Dieckmann is a writer-director who has made four feature films, the most recent of which is "Strange Weather" (2016), starring Holly Hunter and Carrie Coon. She has directed both music videos and episodic television. She is an Associate Professor at Columbia University's graduate School of the Arts Film Program, where she teaches screenwriting and has mentored countless female filmmakers. She also serves as a Creative Advisor for the Sundance Institute and the Nantucket Screenwriters Colony.
