LA Winter Party

Join Film Fatales in Los Angeles for a Filmmaker Party!

Sun December 11th 7pm PT

Thank you for joining Film Fatales in Los Angeles for a filmmaker party!

We’re back in person! We gathered with like minded folks interested in amplifying underrepresented voices in the industry. We had some light bites, great music, and plenty of good cheer to go around. Our spacious venue had a well-stocked cash bar featuring craft beer, delicious cocktails and non alcoholic beverages.

With support from event partners Arc Studio, ICFC, NFMLA, LevelForward, and AWFC. We put on our festive attire, raised a glass, and had a great party!

Arc Studio‘s mission is to build the easiest way to run a writers’ room. We research how creatives collaborate when telling stories and create the tools that make this messy process as simple as possible: less technical frustrations and more creative collaboration.

Through advocacy, support and education, the Alliance for Women Film Composers aims to increase the visibility of women composers active in media scoring. The AWFC advocates for the inclusion of women composers within industry events; supports filmmakers, game developers and studios in their inclusion of women composers; and educates, mentors and inspires emerging women composers. Today, our efforts are inclusive of many gender categories that include women and femme identities. We advocate for women composers, transwomen composers, femme-identifying composers, and composers who are gender non-binary and gender queer in our efforts and advocacy. Our organization was founded by and for women composers.

The International Collective of Female⁺ Cinematographers (ICF⁺C) is a collective of professional female cinematographers from around the US and the world, who provide each other with community support and industry advocacy.

NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization that champions emerging and diverse filmmakers and storytellers from around the world and provides a forum where filmmakers can be recognized for their contributions, have open audience discussions about their work and connect with industry professionals for insight on distribution, production and representation.

Level Forward’s mission is to expand the opportunity and influence of creative excellence in pursuit of equity and economic transformation. We do this by elevating new voices behind still-invisible narratives and reshaping systems to vest a broader group of multi-faceted stakeholders in film, television, live, and digital entertainment.
