Bridget Stokes

Bridget Stokes is a director whose directorial debut feature comedy, Herman & Shelly, was released by Cinetic and will be re-released with Seed & Spark in the fall of 2017. Stokes’ recent short film, Think Fast, premiered at the Vail Film Festival and has gone on to play at several additional festivals and is being developed as a pilot. Bridget has been shadowing director on Fox’s The Mick, CW’s Jane The Virgin, Amazon’s Transparent, ABC’s The Goldbergs and CBS’s Scorpion and has directed the pilot episode of the web series, Picked Up which is currently seeking distribution. Stokes has several features in development through Instant Pictures including feature film Emmett, which she will direct, The Lost Husband, which she will produce, and a television adaptation of The Volunteer, a film she produced in 2013. Stokes recently directed a short for Gary Buchler’s Shoot ‘Em Up project and produced a soon-to-be-released Netflix feature documentary. She graduated from Brown University with a degree in Art Semiotics and Africana Studies and currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
