Stokes recently won an Emmy for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Series for her work on HBO's A Black Lady Sketch Show on which she directed and was co-executive producer of seasons 3 & 4. Stokes was co-executive producer and directed the pilot, season finale and ten additional episodes of season 1 of Apple TV’s Hello Jack: The Kindness Show, created by Jack McBrayer and Angela Santomero. Prior to that, Stokes directed her second feature film, BOY GENIUS, starring Miles Brown and Rita Wilson which premiered theatrically and on VOD. Stokes has also directed episodes for Disney’s Gabby Duran and the Unsittables and Saturdays and has produced 6 feature films.
