Émilie Richard-Froozan is an Iranian-American filmmaker from New York. She has directed numerous music videos and short films, including, "Rufur", which won Best Experimental Short at the LA Film and Script Festival, and was an official selection at the Boston Underground Film Festival. She directed a music video for Hurray For The Riff Raff's "I Know It's Wrong (But That's Alright)" that won Offbeat Magazine Awards 2015 Best Music Video of The Year. Her first feature film, "Buttercup Bill", co-written and co-directed with Remy Bennett, premiered at the Marfa Film Festival. It was also in competition as an Official Selection at the New Orleans Film Festival, an Official Selection at the Raindance Film Festival in London, UK, and an Official Selection at the Slingshot Athens Film Festival. It was released theatrically and digitally across the UK & Ireland by Trinity Films and digitally in the US by Seed & Spark, premiering at Cinefamily Theater in Los Angeles, CA in September 2016.
