Enid Zentelis

Enid Zentelis is a writer and director of feature films, documentary short works and commercials. Her films have screened in festivals around the world including Sundance, Tribeca, New York Film Festival, Stockholm, Turin, Sao Paolo. Nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at The Sundance Film Festival, and winner of Best Director at Sonoma Valley Film Festival, EVERGREEN stars Cara Seymour and Emmy winner Mary Kay Place and received critical acclaim when a first-of-its-kind deal was made with AMC Theaters. BOTTLED UP, produced by Olympus Pictures (RABBIT HOLE, BEGINNERS), premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and was released nationwide after being picked up by Freestyle Media and stars Oscar winner Melissa Leo, Marin Ireland and Josh Hamilton. Commercial work includes shorts on band WILCO, ERIC CLAPTON with THE IMPRESSIONS for Warner Records and Universal, and a documentary for Radical Media on The Clinton Foundation. She was an NBC-Universal New Comedy Showcase director in 2015, presenting new comedic actors, writers and directors in NYC. She recently wrote and directed a short for series AU PAIR, starring Ann Carr(RED OAKS,WOMEN WHO KILL) Mary Kay Place, (GETTING ON, BIG LOVE) and Wei-Yi Minn. Zentelis is an alumna The Sundance Institute Screenwriting Lab, and The Graduate Film Program at NYU. She teaches filmmaking at NYU/Tisch.
