Jacki Ochs is an award winning documentary director and producer whose work has been screened and broadcast worldwide. Among other awards, her feature documentary film VIETNAM: THE SECRET AGENT (Producer, Director, Cinematographer) premiered at New York Film Festival, won Special Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival and received the John Grierson Award from the American Film Festival. Her experimental documentary LETTERS NOT ABOUT LOVE (Producer, Director, Editor) won the Best Feature Documentary at SXSW Film Festival and the Dziga Vertov Award from Huntington International Film Festival. Jacki produced the feature documentaries 9/12: FROM CHAOS TO COMMUNITY and OUT OF MY HEAD with director Susanna Styron and executive produced Keith Beauchamp’s Emmy nominated UNTOLD STORY OF EMMETT LOUIS TILL which won the Freedom of Expression Award from the National Board of Review. She also executive produced Kristi Zea’s EVERYBODY KNOWS...ELIZABETH MURRAY. Jacki has been the recipient of the Guggenheim and two MacDowell Colony Fellowships and is Executive Director of the Human Arts Association (humanarts.org), a New York City based fiscal sponsoring organization for art and media-based productions. She is adjunct Professor at Pratt Institute’s Film/Video department.
