Keirda Bahruth is an award-winning director and producer recognized for the documentary, Bob and The Monster, about punk rock recovery guru Bob Forrest. Bob and The Monster premiered at SXSW in 2011 and went on to play festivals around the world including AFI Docs, Sheffield and IDFA. She was also honored with the Voice Award for compassionate storytelling, presented by SAMHSA. In 2009, she produced the acclaimed documentary We Live In Public, which won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance that same year and received a theatrical release. In 2015, she directed Hardcore Devo Live, a film documenting the art rock heroes Devo during their 2014 tour. Hardcore Devo Live was commercially released in February 2015 and acquired for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame library in 2016. In 2020, amid the Covid pandemic, she collaborated with the 80s icon Rick Springfield to create a deeply personal film celebrating the 40th anniversary of his hit record, titled Working Class Dog. Most recently, Keirda launched a career-defining journey, documenting Seal on his 2023 tour for her upcoming concert film, "Love's Divine." Set for release in early 2024, the project signifies another notable evolution and reintroduces a beloved artist to the spotlight again. She has recently partnered with Modest Productions to establish a music film branch called Quiet. Keirda is a current member of the Producers Guild Association, Film Fatales and Women In Film.
