Lisa Duva

Lisa Duva is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker whose directorial work has screened at venues including the Slamdance Film Festival, the Brooklyn Museum, and Museum of the Movie Image. Her short film, "Mouth Babies" won best short at the Seattle True Independent Film Festival and her feature debut, "Cat Scratch Fever" won the Audience Award and Best Editing at the Brooklyn Film Festival and Best Drama at Atlanta Underground Film Festival. Duva has also worked on the producing teams behind director Kim Snyder's feature documentary, "Newtown," (Sundance 2016, SXSW, PBS), Olivia Wyatt's "Sailing a Sinking Sea," (SXSW 2015, Hot Docs) and Katherine Nolfi and Andrew Luis's "Upstate" (Los Angeles Film Festival, Sundance Selects). She has directed, edited and produced commercial content for clients including Open Road, Lincoln Center, NJ's Prudential Center and NJ Sports. She is currently an MFA candidate at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Film Program.
