Lisa Ginsburg is an accomplished film director, writer and editor. Most recently, Ginsburg was selected for the 2021 AICP Directors Mentorship Program. Ginsburg’s Nike spec commercial, “Play the Game,” features two Junior Olympic gold medalists in track and field and earned industry recognition and praise. Lisa Ginsburg's narrative/music video, "Override" screened internationally in over 40 festivals and is available on Amazon Prime Video. Her PSA, "Played Out" became a pilot for mentorship programs to bring filmmaking skills to at-risk teenagers. Ginsburg was awarded the competitive PowerUP! Directing Grant to direct the 35mm short film, “Chicken Night,” starring Ione Skye and Scout Taylor-Compton. Ginsburg co-directed and edited the award-winning feature documentary, “Radical Harmonies.” In 2017, Ginsburg was a 2nd Unit Director on Alex McGuinness' feature film, "She's Missing" (2019), starring Lucy Frye and Eiza Gonzalez. Ginsburg’s “Worlds Apart in Singapore,” is the featured cover story in Asian Jewish Life and showcased in films, Singapore news segments and Ministry of Culture exhibits. Ginsburg is currently developing a pilot based on the Singapore stories for a limited series.
