Liz Hinlein is a DGA director, creative director, and visual artist known for her work in film, commercials, and immersive media. Her debut narrative feature, "Other People's Children" premiered at the Director's Guild of America and received acclaim from Variety. The film, which received the Panavision New Filmmakers Grant, is available on Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime.

Liz's short films have been featured at festivals like the Berlin Film Festival, The Slamdance Film Festival, and The Hamptons Film Festival. In the immersive space, her documentary VR experience, "Attention MOVE: this is AMERICA" is currently supported by the Venice Biennale. Her work in VR/AR has gained recognition from clients such as the NFL, Walmart, Accenture, and Byton Auto, winning Best Commercial/Branded Content at CES for the Accenture project.

As a director for commercials, branding videos, and music videos, Liz has collaborated with brands and artists including Castrol Oil, Dove, Revlon, A&E, and Mary J. Blige. In television she has been selected for the DGA Directors Mentorship Program, The Sony Diverse Directors Program, and the Viacom Diversity Initiative. Liz's creative endeavors extend to photography and creative direction for artists like Britney Spears, Quincy Jones, and Incubus.

A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts with an MFA in Cinematography from The American Film Institute, Liz served as the Creative Director of Film and Cinematography at the New York Film Academy.
