LP (Lauren Palmigiano) got her start directing under the generous and auspicious mentorship of Adam McKay and Will Ferrell. As the first writer hired to create original content at Funny or Die, LP was behind dozens of the website’s hit videos and celebrity pieces. Writing successful sketch comedy led to discovering a love of directing and LP was able to flex her skills with some of Hollywood’s A List talent. She’s developed and executed ideas with Christina Applegate, John C Reilly, Martin Sheen, Lizzy Caplan, Mariah Carey, Kristen Bell and lots more. Aside from digital content, LP has directed several short films including her first, CRIED SUICIDE, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. She's also directed pilots and episodes for television for Nickelodeon and Freeform.

LP’s writing and improv background make her a sought after director for comedy and sketch based ideas, especially those featuring strong female characters. LP is currently developing several film projects and trying to be a chill person.
