The film won Best Music Award at The South Asian Int. Film Festival, New York and Meneka was awarded the Grand Jury Award for Emerging Talent. A second feature venture is a story with two strong female Indian leads. ‘Summer of Our Lives - was one of the two scripts to be selected by the UK Film Council for Tribeca All Access followed by selection for the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum.
