Nicole Castillo is a director and producer and head of Coqui Pictures. She has won an Emmy award for a medical story she did in partnership with Univision International. Her latest short film was selected at the La Femme Film Festival and Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival; and won Best Student Film at the Los Angeles Movie Awards. She has a feature length documentary on Amazon Prime called "Forgotten Plague," a film investigating why the illness Chronic Fatigue Syndrome has left millions without answers from the medical community. She received her masters in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University. She has worked in development for Los Angeles film companies such as Strongman Productions and Aero Film and have directed and produced several short narrative films and documentaries for master-level projects with Loyola Marymount University and New York Film Academy.
