Stavroula toska

Stavroula Toska was born and raised in Sindos, a small town in Greece. After receiving her degree in Marketing&PR she moved to Athens to pursue acting and went on to co-star in two of the most successful soap operas in Greek tv history. Soon after she moved to New York to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Stavroula refers to her meeting with Academy Award winner Olympia Dukakis as "life changing". The two collaborated on Toska’s multi-award winning directorial debut, Beneath the Olive Tree, for which Dukakis served as Narrator and Executive Producer.
Through the Film Fatales Stavroula met Kim Spurlock and went on to produce Livin’ The Dream, an award winning comedic web series created by Kim and her sister, Mai. The series takes a shot at the life of Kit Scanlon; a woman in her 30s who quits her job to pursue her dream of becoming an indie director goddess. Stavroula and the Spurlock Sisters are now developing seasons 2&3.
Her latest collaboration is with another Film Fatale, Rachel Elizabeth Seed. She is producing Seed’s personal documentary film about a daughter’s search for the mother she never knew through their shared love of photography, titled A Photographic Memory.
Stavroula is currently writing her first script titled HOME and developing a one hour drama series, both based on true events.
