Koval Bhatia
Koval is a filmmaker and producer based in India. She founded A Little Anarky Films in 2011 and has worked on hundreds of projects including commercials, short docs, broadcast episodes and impact films. Her debut feature documentary as producer, Against The Tide, won the Special Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival 2023. Her work has been supported by several organisations including Sundance, IDFA, HotDocs, Al Jazeera, DOKLeipzig, Catapult Film Fund. Her short documentary She Run The World, commissioned by HotDocs Canada premiered at DCEFF’23. She has received fellowships from IDA, World Congress for Science and Factual Producers, Eurodoc and Hot Docs. She works as a grant reviewer for organisations including Catapult Fund, IDA, BFI, Doc Society and has been Chair of Jury for Features at the IDA Awards. She is currently a participant at the Circle Women's Doc Accelerator with her first feature documentary as a director.
