Marlaine Glicksman

Marlaine Glicksman is a filmmaker, screenwriter, story consultant, photographer, and writer based in New York. She is the director and producer of The Commandment Keepers, the feature documentary on the African American synagogue founded in 1919 in Harlem, where it carried on almost 100 years. She has shot for Travel & Leisure and Vibe, and her writing has been published in Al Jazeera, Rolling Stone, Men's Journal, and ASX. She has taught screenwriting and film at NYU, SVA, The New School, and Brooklyn College.
