Carla Gutiérrez directorial debut, FRIDA premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival where it won the Jonathan Oppenheim Editing Award. Carla is the editor of the Oscar-nominated films RBG and La Corona. She also edited Pray Away (Netflix Originals) and Julia (Sony Pictures). Her work has received multiple Emmy nominations and awards at Sundance, Tribeca, and Berlinale, among other festivals. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures and American Cinema Editors.
