Film Fatales members are invited to an in-person gathering in Midtown West!! We will engage in a dynamic conversation about the film industry and our current projects, with the goal of fostering community among our New York City members. With a guided conversation led by Film Fatales members Carol Brandt and Chithra Jeyaram. Eager to meet creative collaborators? Excited to connect with like-minded artists? Let us take comfort in our diverse network of talent as we get together to bolster one another over drinks, snacks and community building discussion. Your hosts will provide snacks. We encourage guests to bring refreshments (seltzer, beer, wine etc.) This in-person filmmaker mixer is for current Film Fatales members only. Capacity is limited. You and yours are invited to an in-person filmmaker mixer in Los Angeles! Mix and mingle with your favorite directors, cinematographers, composers, producers and other film folks in this summer gathering celebrating creatives of all marginalized genders. Let’s connect with like minded folks interested in amplifying underrepresented voices in the film industry…and have a little fun in the process! Valet options available. Food vendors on site with vegetarian and vegan options. Cash bar. 21+ This in-person networking mixer is for filmmakers of all backgrounds and anyone interested in gender parity in film. All guests must register separately in advance. Film Fatales members can log in for their member ticket. Co-hosted by AWFC and Film Fatales with support from community partners A-Doc, Black Film Space, Chicana Directors Initiative, ICF+C, The Writers Lab and the DGA Women's Steering Committee.
