Alexis Jacknow
Alexis Jacknow is a Los Angeles based writer, director, and actor.
She recently released her Hulu Original feature film, CLOCK, starring Dianna Agron and Melora Hardin. CLOCK World Premiered at the Overlook Film Festival where it took home an Audience Award. The movie was lauded as one of the "Best Horror Films of 2023" by People, Variety, Collider, Esquire, and Marie Clare, and is Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
Her most recent feature, AIDa, made the 2024 Black List.
Alexis currently has multiple projects in development with James Wan's Atomic Monster, as well as her horror feature, THE BLINDINGS, with 21 Laps, which sold to Amazon. Her feature drama, THE VILLAGER, was an Official Selection of IFP Week's No Borders Program.
Alexis' short film credits include AGAIN (Tribeca Film Festival), OVERNIGHT (Paramount+, WGA Award Nomination Short Form Original), and COSTUME CHANGE (Hulu).
Her upcoming directing work includes the psychological thriller, THE HOUSE SITTER, for Billy Magnussen's HappyBad Bungalow.
Additionally, Alexis has over a decade of theater directing experience, during which she has helmed National Tours, World Premieres, and Audie Award winning radio plays. She sits on faculty at UCLA's Department of Theater.
As an actor, her career spans film, television, theater, and dozens of national commercials. She holds a B.F.A. in Acting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
