Alina Mogollon-Volk

Alina Mogollon-Volk is a Long Island based producer, director and editor. Most recently she is a co-director, producer and editor of the award-winning feature documentary, Remembering Big: The Chi Chi Rodriguez Story. Her film, Festival, was selected for the 2020 Long Beach International Film Festival and Point Lookout Film Festival and her original screenplay 40 Miracles was a finalist at the Long Island International Film Expo. Her short film Home screened at the MOMA Studio Museum of Harlem. Alina was the senior technician and lead producer at LYNBROOK – TV, the government television station of the Village of Lynbrook for many years before starting her current role as the multimedia Senior Production Manager for all of HealthCentral brand websites. She has produced and edited videos for NYU Langone, a number of citizen non-profits, Paper Tiger TV and worked as a freelance producer for HBO. Alina is an MFA graduate in Integrated Media Arts from Hunter College where she has been an adjunct professor in the Film and Media department. She has been married to the love of her life, Kevin, for over 25 years and has two children.
