Beatriz Sanchis is a director who studied Audiovisual Communication at the University of Valencia and La Sorbonne Nouvelle and has developed her professional career between Madrid and Mexico.
She started making video art and then made the leap to short films, winning more than forty international awards, competing at the Berlinale with her short film Mi Otra Mitad and being nominated for a Goya for her short film La Clase.
Her first feature film Todos Están Muertos had two Goya nominations, for Best New Director and Best Leading Actress. And she won five awards at the Malaga Film Festival. Now she presents The Gigantes, which also won two awards at the last Malaga Festival, and has directed two chapters of the series Nacho, a biopic about Nacho Vidal, which premiered on Lionsgate+. She also has ten years of experience in advertising being represented by Go East, Rebolucion, Easy Mondays and Solworks.
