Indy Saini

Indy Saini is a SouthAsian American filmmaker passionate about adventure and travel, driven to increase the complex stories of women in mass media. Her directorial debut "The Lesson,” garnered international awards including Best US Narrative at the Women’s International Film Festival in Miami, and her documentary “Women in the Front Seat” delving into the female motorcycle culture won Best Feature Doc at numerous film festivals and is available on Amazon Prime. Throughout her 20 year career Indy embraced both the technical and creative paths. As a DIT her skills landed her work with master storytellers including Ang Lee and David Lynch on Hollywood movies such as “The Little Mermaid,” “Gemini Man,” and “A Wrinkle In Time.” With her visual eye and expertise as cinematographer, Indy contributed to the award winning comedic web series “Judgment Call,” and “Ice Bear,” a National Geographic Wild film for which she received an Emmy Nomination.
