Katy Dore
Katy Dore is a Writer and Director in TV and Film. Katy was selected to the Cannes Screenplay List for her feature script PIPER. Her horror script, GOT YOUR BACK was honored with a Live Read at the Austin Film. Katy’s TV limited series about Mary Ellen Pleasant, titled THE UNSUNG, has production deals with Flavor Unit, Quincy Jones Productions and Goldmann Pictures. Katy writes in multiple formats and genres with the common thematic through-line that happiness/success can only be achieved by being who you really are. The feature film Katy directed and the short films she wrote and directed, have won numerous awards at film festivals all over the world. In her downtime, Katy enjoys body-boarding with her shimmer of mermaids, playing tennis or flyfishing.
