Kristin Windell is a television director with a keen eye for detail and a passion for story telling. She made her episodic directorial debut with a ground breaking episode of Arrow. Her television credits include Blindspot, Doom Patrol, Magnum P.I., DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, All American and Hawaii Five-O.
Prior to directing television, Windell had worked the past decade as a series editor on such hit TV shows as Arrow, Blindspot, and Brothers & Sisters. And as one of the most respected editors during those years, she was able to work side by side with the best directors in the business. This allowed her to gain knowledge of multiple technical aspects of directing and the intricacies involved in bringing out the best performance from actors. She has worked with many successful producers, including Greg Berlanti, JJ Abrams, Ken Olin, Martin Gero, and Marc Guggenheim.
Windell was selected for the prestigious Warner Bros. Directors’ Workshop in 2016. She was born and raised in Northern California and lives with her family in the San Gabriel Valley.
