Pamela Moriarty

Pamela Moriarty is a Bangkok-born film producer and director based in New York City, working internationally. With a background in fine art, visual design, photography, and film, she brings a strong visual sensibility and hands-on production expertise to projects across narrative film, television, and art-driven media. She holds a degree in Video Production and Film Direction, where her early discovery of filmmaking shaped a career rooted in collaboration and problem-solving. Pamela has contributed to over 80 film and media productions, taking on key roles including producer, line producer, assistant director, videographer, and director. Her work is defined by guiding projects from development through post-production while balancing creative vision, logistics, and budgetary demands. She is known for building efficient workflows, supporting directors and creatives, and fostering productive, respectful sets. Her feature directorial debut, A Deadly Legend (2020), starring Corbin Bernsen, Judd Hirsch, and Dwayne A. Thomas, reflects her experience managing complex productions and working with established talent. As a producer, she has collaborated with notable filmmakers and artists such as Shirin Neshat, serving as line producer on Dreamers at Gladstone Gallery, as well as working alongside Javier Aguirresarobe, Ghasem Ebrahimian, and Laura Eason. Pamela’s thesis film, Doted, received a Showcase in Experimental Citation from the Brooklyn Underground Film Festival, highlighting her interest in innovative storytelling. Currently based in Brooklyn, she is available for hire and collaboration worldwide, bringing a global perspective, strong organizational leadership, and a deep commitment to bringing meaningful stories to the screen.
