Victoria DeMartin

Victoria DeMartin is a writer and director from New York. She has written and directed seven short films and produced two others. Each of her short films have screened at festivals nationwide, notably Austin Film Festival, Hamptons Film Festival, Big Apple Film Festival, and Santa Cruz Film Festival. Most recently, Victoria directed THE AUDITION, a short film commissioned by Nikon. Her historical short film, WINTER RYE aired on PBS-KCVR in 2014 and won Best Short Period Piece at The Garden State Film Festival. Her film and TV experience also includes post production on Showtime Network's BILLIONS, art department NBC's THE BLACKLIST, and Showrunner’s Assistant on Netflix limited series THE SPY starring Sacha Baron Cohen. Victoria also worked as the Director’s Assistant on feature film THE RED SEA DIVING RESORT starring Chris Evans and AppleTV+ series NOW & THEN starring Rosie Perez. As a writer, Victoria’s screenplays have garnered attention from organizations, festivals, and competitions including: Sundance Episodic Lab, Austin Film Festival, The New York TV Festival, Cinequest, HRTS, The Sun Valley Film Festival, Big Apple Film Festival, the Golden Script Competition and Stowe Story Labs. In 2023 her feature script "The Cutting Room Floor" won grand prize in the 2023 Golden Script Fellowship. Her live pitch for her series "En Tournant" won Lee Daniel's Pitch Please Contest hosted by Ghetto Film School at IFP Week (now Gotham Week). Currently, Victoria is a producer on podcast “Here’s the Thing with Alec Baldwin” for iHeart Radio and is in production on her first feature film, THE CUTTING ROOM FLOOR.
