Synopsis

THE INSIDERS follows a tight-knit group of young political staffers thrown into the chaos of a presidential primary season. As the campaigns charge through Iowa, New Hampshire, and beyond, loyalties blur and tensions rise—especially for Becca and Will, whose relationship is tested when they end up on opposing sides. Their friend Carter starts a new job in a rival senator’s office, quickly discovering that crossing party lines comes with consequences he never saw coming. With each primary, the pressure intensifies: scandals hover, attack ads escalate, and the line between duty and morality grows harder to see. Friendships strain, careers hang in the balance, and every choice becomes a gamble. The season builds toward the Democratic National Convention, where victories will be celebrated—but not without sacrifice.
