Synopsis
Offbeat dramedy "1+1+1" tells the story of Pat (she really hates Patricia), a childish almost 40 fiery aspiring writer who speaks and acts before her brain can stop the damage. Pat must face herself and find peace to patch things up with her musician boyfriend Jan, a 2nd generation Peruvian immigrant with an identity crisis, and repair her now shaky relationship with her teenage daughter Flavie, whose best friend is a fake emotional support dog.
A stay at Pat’s childhood cabin in Quebec’s winter will unearth buried memories that may hold the key to her salvation. 1+1+1 features a restless but strong female protagonist and a blended family trying to live together and love one another. The search for self, the plight and bonds of family and the many love stories of Pat and her clan convey universal values that everyone can relate to. Pat will soon learn that love doesn’t divide, it adds up
