The Silent Protocol

Directed by Courtney Chen

When a stolen Cold War weapon system known as The Silent Protocol resurfaces, a retired spy-turned–English teacher in Budapest is forced to hunt down her former partner, only to learn they’ve both been framed by a mysterious mercenary, who plans to trigger “natural” earthquakes across Europe to collapse governments and seize power.

Synopsis

THE SILENT PROTOCOL is an espionage thriller set in the heart of Budapest. Hallie Caulder once operated as one of the most elite deep-cover intelligence assets; an expert in seduction, misdirection, and psychological manipulation. She could become anyone, slide into any world, and extract secrets without leaving fingerprints. But years of covert missions left her soul hollow, her loyalties fractured, and her heart numb.

After a catastrophic mission in Berlin, one that resulted in her abandoning her partner Rian Ranastra under duress, Hallie walked away from spy work entirely. She buried her past, cut ties with the agency, and built a quiet, anonymous life in Budapest as a language instructor. But Hallie has never escaped the instincts that kept her alive. She still scans every room. She still sleeps lightly. She still lives with guilt. When she is abducted off the yellow tram and forcibly reactivated to prevent a global catastrophe, she’s thrown back into the hell she once escaped. Now partnered again with Rian, the man whose trust she destroyed, Hallie must confront the ghosts she spent years trying to forget. Hallie is cool, sharp, sensual, and dangerous, an Atomic Blonde for a new age. Beneath her seductive, icy exterior is a deeply wounded woman trying to reclaim her integrity… while stopping a war only she is uniquely skilled to prevent.
