Synopsis
Sara is a bitter, 55-year-old photographer who is losing her sight and wants to hold one last exhibition of her work before taking her own life. One night she meets Luz, a young amateur boxer, with whom she falls deeply in love. The two women forge such a profound bond that it gives Sara one last chance at happiness and Luz what she has always wanted: a better future.
Director Identity
Bio
Ana Patricia Angulo Panamanian/Mexican studied at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. Director and cinematographer. She worked on the film NOT OF THIS WORLD as a cinematographer. PARALLEL LINES is her first feature film as a director and second as a cinematographer, a project supported by the Fondocine National Competition of Panama 2019. She is currently working on her second feature film as a director and third as a cinematographer SONATA FOR A DEAD MAN, a project that won the Fondocine 2022 award.
