Synopsis

After multiple failed attempts at IVF, JESSICA and GORDON SANDERS must explore alternative options such as egg donation if they want to be parents, a notion Jessica likens to being an understudy in a Broadway show about her own life. Fate, however, has a funny way of intervening, and after stepping in to defend a stranger from a group of thugs, Jessica meets BRIDGET GARCIA. Bridget offers her a “life-for-a-life” exchange to repay Jessica for her kindness. Unbeknownst to Gordon, Jessica strikes a deal with Bridget to use her eggs, thrusting her into a dangerous adventure in the criminal underworld.
