Moderated by Film Fatales member Tamar Halpern (Director, Sinfidelity).

Come hear a panel of experts illuminate the pros and cons of working in the Roger Corman-esque genre of lower-budget TV Movie thrillers. The discussion will include tips on how to get hired and what to expect once you are, how to make the challenging short schedule work to your benefit, ways to utilize creative solutions when asked to pivot quickly, and more.

Originally from Maple Valley Washington, Blythe Howard was born to former NFL Seattle Seahawks tight end Ron Howard and mother, Kim Kelly, a Senior Recruiter for Microsoft, AOL and Amazon turned interior design entrepreneur known as Gardella Design Group. Blythe excelled in every sport especially volleyball which she played competitively year round indoor and outdoor, she later went on to coach the sport. A stand out athlete, she is no stranger to hard work and says growing up in sports has played a huge part in her work ethic today. Blythe stepped foot in Los Angeles and took the commercial world by storm booking over 50 commercial campaigns as a Principal Performer. In between gigs, she began coaching commercial actors one-on-one in 2018 and launched her first Actor's Life With Blythe Signature Commercial Workshop in June of 2019 and has branched out into helping fellow actors succeed in self taping, headshot preparation and the business world of acting. Her television guest star debut began on Lifetime and since then she has recurred in MINDHUNTER Season 2 and has appeared in WALKER, DYNASTY, SILICON VALLEY, YELLOWSTONE and THE UNICORN. Blythe is currently on set in Chicago shooting a recurring guest star for a major network. Blythe is represented theatrically by Pantheon and Moxie Artists (Los Angeles) and Gravity Artists (Southeast).



Marianne Wunch As SVP, Creative Affairs at MarVista Entertainment, Marianne Wunch has served the company for more than two years, leading a line of business that develops and produces 30 films per year that are distributed both domestically and internationally. Prior to MarVista, Marianne produced over three dozen independent feature films. Her early experience as a theatrical stage manager and special events coordinator has enabled her to manage all aspects of production, from prep through post and delivery. Her work can be seen on a variety of networks and streaming platforms, including Lifetime, Hallmark, Netflix, and most recently Tubi.



Taylor Harris was the Script Supervisor on Fifth Third Bank, Secrets in Suburbia, Bad Moms Club, Remnant 13, Ghost in the Family and more. Taylor has a Master of Art in Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Media and Broadcasting from Northern Kentucky University.



Tamar Halpern is the Writer/Director of Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life starring Mira Sovino, Joe Pantoliano and Michael Urie, the award-winning documentary on Netflix Llyn Foulkes One Man Band ("A joy to watch" The Hollywood Reporter, "Undeniably fascinating" Variety), award-winning Shelf Life, ("whip smart… taps into a fresh source for American comedy" Variety) starring Betsy Brandt of Breaking Bad. Halpern recently directed VR at the 2018 Women's March in Los Angeles and was hired to adapt and direct a novel by SE Hinton (The Outsiders, Rumble Fish), due to release in 2019. Her script about legendary journalist Nellie Bly is in development with Darren Aronofsky's Protazoa Pictures and slated for 2018 production. Her script Ezzy Fish made the Black List, was a Nicholl's semi finalist, an IFP/NY Top Ten finalist, and accepted in the Film Independent Producers and Director Labs. She's directed dozens of commercials for Armani, YSL, DeBeers and Amazon.
