Alyx Ayn Arumpac is a Filipino filmmaker and producer. Her debut feature documentary 'Aswang' won 25 awards, including the FIPRESCI prize at IDFA, the grand prizes at Gawad Urian and FAMAS in the Philippines, RIDM in Canada, DMZ Documentary Festival in South Korea, Film Festival Dokumenter Jogjakarta in Indonesia, FDCP's Camera Obscura Artistic Excellence award, the Amnesty International Award at Thessaloniki, and more. Alyx completed a Master's degree in documentary film directing at Docnomads in Portugal, Hungary, and Belgium. She studied at the University of the Philippines Film Institute, the Philippine High School for the Arts, and is an alumna of Berlinale Talents Docstation, IDFA Academy, Talents Tokyo, and Docs by the Sea.
