Bridget Stokes

Bridget Stokes is a director and filmmaker who recently completed production on her second comedy feature titled, Emmett. An AT&T Untold Stories award-winner, Emmett stars Rita Wilson, Miles Brown and Nora Dunn. Stokes’ directorial debut feature comedy, Herman & Shelly, was released by Cinetic and re-released with Seed & Spark in 2017. Stokes’ recent short film, Think Fast, premiered at the Vail Film Festival and has gone on to play at several additional festivals, where it has been nominated for several awards including ‘Best Director” and won awards at Moondance and the Sydney International Film Festival. Bridget has been shadowing director on Fox’s The Mick, CW’s Jane The Virgin, Amazon’s Transparent, ABC’s The Goldbergs and CBS’s Scorpion and has directed the pilot episode of the web series, Picked Up. Stokes has several features in development through 6ft Pictures including The Lost Husband, On The Free and Wren which she will produce. Stokes recently produced the Netflix feature, The Rachel Divide, which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2018. She graduated from Brown University with a degree in Art Semiotics and Africana Studies and currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
