Emily M. Blake started her career as an On-Air Host/Producer at a small regional radio station in Michigan. She then moved to television as an Associate Producer for an Ace Award winning Detroit Current Affairs Show, "Transition." After earning an M.A. in R/TV/F, she wrote, produced and directed her first film, "Connie's Place," 80 mins, Color, 16mm, in 8 days for $7k. She currently has one short, "The Talk," exhibiting at film festivals and is submitting another short, "The Last Taboo," to film festivals." Emily resides in Los Angeles, where she is developing several documentary and narrative projects.
