Funmi Holder was born in Lagos state , Nigeria. She attended the University of Ibadan where she studied Botany. She started her acting career in 2003 while still in the University with her first leading role in a movie titled 'AFTER THE PROMISE'. In 2016 she ventured into film production bringing together Nigerian top actors like Richard Mofe-Damijo Richard Mofe-Damijo , Ireti Doyle and Odunlade Adekola in her debut THE GRUDGE. Funmi Holder is also an avid traveler who loves to explore different countries. She has been to 19 countries so far.
