Harleen is an award winning documentary filmmaker committed to telling stories that inspire viewers to look beyond their limitations and achieve their goals. Born in Wellington and raised in 17 cities across India and U.S. Social issues affecting minorities are a central theme in her work since the beginning of her career at The History Channel and National Geographic Channel. Her most recent film Drawn Together: Comics, Diversity and Stereotypes was showcased in over 52 Film Festival world wide and won 9 prestigious awards. The film was also showcased on the World Channel, PBS. She has also been selected as one of the 50 Prominent Sikhs of the USA. Harleen lives in California with her husband and two adorable daughters.
