Lorena's previous film COAL RUSH captures a rural Appalachian community’s battle against a coal company accused of dumping toxic waste into their water supply, winning Best Documentary at the San Marino FilmFestival, Best Audience Award in Milan, Best Environment Award at Cinema Verde, FLA., and Amy Goodman's best Social Justice Award in NY. The film was distributed by Starz and is available on Amazon Prime, Hulu, and other platforms.
