Born in Mexico City, Luisa graduated with honours from one of Mexico's top film schools (Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica - CCC) with a Bachelor's Degree in filmmaking, specialised in directing and editing. Since then she has developed a successful career in the film, TV and advertising industries, working for worldwide and renowned companies such as the BBC, National Geographic, Fox International, and Netflix. She owns a production company in Mexico City called True Films, with Carlos Estrada. She is a member of British Film Editors (BFE) and splits her time between Mexico City and London.
