Maria Cataldo is a New York City based filmmaker. Her feature film editing credits include Rain, Children of God, Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life, After Louie, and the most recently completed Queen of Knives. Further credits include Maria's work as a supervising editor for Field of Vision alongside Academy Award Winning director Laura Poitras, as well as her work at the Weinstein Company on films such as Bobby, Factory Girl, Dedication, and the Chicks documentary Shut Up and Sing. Maria co-directed/co-produced MTV's Clio Award winning show Rebel Music, a six part documentary series about protest music emerging from conflict areas around the world. That same year, she co-directed Outtakes, a web series that Culturebot’s Andy Horwitz called, “the kind of vital, vibrant, important work that mainstream media never makes...but pushes the whole thing forward.” Maria was an editor on the Netflix original series, Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich, as well as the Oprah Winfrey produced series, The Me You Can't See. Maria is a founding member of the production company Fictionless alongside Academy Award Winning Director Ross Kaufman.
