Shelagh carter

Trained at the Canadian Film Centre (Director) and a Lifetime Member of The Actors Studio (Actress/Director), Shelagh has created work for both theatre and film. Her short films and features have won prestigious international nominations and awards. Of note: Best Manitoba Director 2018 by the DGC for her indie feature, Before Anything You Say, and her third feature Into Invisible Light winning the Directors’ Choice Independent Spirit Award at the Sedona International Film Festival 2020; Best Ladies Illuminate Feature at the Lady Filmmakers Film Festival Los Angeles, October 2020, and on behalf of the film, awarded Best Director, at the Swedish International Film Festival, July 2021. Considered an actor’s director.
Shelagh holds dual Citizenship for the US and Canada. Manitoba resident. English speaking.
