Bobby Sarma Baruah is an Indian film maker, film researcher, producer and screen writer whose narrative content on social cultural issues in Assam and the North East has been highly appreciated. Her debut Assamese feature film "Adomya" based on HIV Aids was awarded Best Film in the spiritual category at the 13th Dhaka International Film Festival. Adomya was also screened as an official selection for more than sixteen international film festivals across the world. Her second venture "Sonar Baran Pakhi" (The Golden Wing) is a bio pic based on a folk singer's life.
