Deidre Schoo is a filmmaker and photographer based in New York City. Deidre’s debut feature film, Flex Is Kings, premiered at Tribeca Film Festival, had a successful theatrical run in major US cities and is now available on iTunes, Amazon and Vimeo. Other film projects include BKLYN FLEX, a series commissioned by Thrash Lab (a programmer of original content on YouTube), documenting Kuduro acts from Angola as they tour various European cities and creating short films about the food and culture at Roberta’s Pizza. Commercial and editorial work (often involving radical gorilla shooting) can be seen on The New York Times, NOWNESS, Opening Ceremony, among others.
