Synopsis
Sade Bennington has her eyes set on the interview of a lifetime—until she’s blindsided by office politics and rerouted to South Africa to cover Milo Shabazz, a controversial boxing champion with a temper as famous as his title. She expects ego. She expects drama. What she doesn’t expect is him. Thrown into his world of early morning runs, tense press conferences, and fleeting moments of unexpected tenderness, Sade finds herself caught between her journalistic instincts and something deeper she can’t quite name. Milo, used to deflecting cameras and hiding behind bravado, is rattled by a woman who sees through the performance and isn’t afraid to challenge him. As sparks fly and boundaries blur, both are forced to reckon with past wounds, present choices, and what it truly means to be seen. But when public scrutiny threatens to unravel everything, Sade must decide whether to protect her career or trust her gut and tell the story no one else can. COVERING MILO SHABAZZ is a smart, sexy, and emotionally rich drama that explores the collision of ambition, vulnerability, and unexpected connection, set against the lush backdrop of Cape Town and the high-stakes world of professional boxing. It’s Love Jones meets Creed, a classic in the making where legacy, identity, and love all step into the ring.
