Claire is a 19-year-old college student, a little goofy, a little adrift in life. When she gets the chance, she moves impulsively from the United States to Paris, where she nannies for the family from hell, faces off with French bureaucrats, embarrasses herself in front of her Parisian crush, and navigates a toxic relationship – among other faux pas.

Nicola Rose is a director and writer from New York City. Her second feature film, Magnetosphere, was released in 2025 following screenings at Dances With Films, ReelAbilities Film Festival and others. The film is a coming-of-age comedy about a neurodivergent 13-year-old girl discovering she has synesthesia. The film stars Shayelin Martin, Steven He, Colin Mochrie, Tara Strong, Patrick McKenna and Debra McGrath. Nicola's first feature film, Goodbye, Petrushka, about an American girl's misadventures in France, was released in 2022. Following a world premiere at Dances With Films in Hollywood, the movie won several awards for best feature and best comedy on the festival circuit. Nicola is a graduate of Columbia University and the Sorbonne-Nouvelle University in Paris.
