Film Fatales at Tribeca

Film Fatales, the largest community organization of established women and non-binary feature film and television directors in the world, is heading into the Tribeca Film Festival with ten feature films in the lineup. To celebrate, Film Fatales is hosting a Tribeca Industry Cocktails event with Tribeca Studios on Sunday April 28th at Spring Studios. All genders welcome.

The evolution of Film Fatales has resulted in a veritable force at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, where ten members have directed feature films premiering at the festival. These include the narrative features Charlie Says directed by Mary Harron, Clementine directed by Lara Jean Gallagher, CRSHD directed by Emily Cohn, Stray Dolls directed by Sonejuhi Sinha, The Short History of the Long Road directed by Ani Simon-Kennedy, and documentaries A Woman's Work: The NFL's Cheerleader Problem directed by Yu Gu, Circus of Books directed by Rachel Mason, Other Music directed by Puloma Basu, The Good The Bad The Hungry directed by Nicole Lucas Haimes, and The Remix: Hip Hop X Fashion directed by Lisa Cortés and Farah X. Additional Film Fatales members have directed short form content at the festival including Hookup 2.0 directed by Dana Nachman, Momster directed by Drew Denny, St Louis Superman directed by Smriti Mundhra, and The Diplomat directed by Senain Kheshgi.
