May 2019

Hello all!

The last month brought together an abundance of women feature film and television directors of all backgrounds to network, share resources, and discuss craft. In April, we partnered with Tribeca Studios for an Industry Cocktails event celebrating women feature film directors at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Film Fatales also facilitated discussion circles nationwide, including one in Los Angeles with guest speakers from ABC Creative Talent Development, a networking mixer for narrative and documentary filmmakers in New York, a webinar in Atlanta, and a discussion with representatives from the San Francisco Film Society in San Francisco.

Coming up in May, Film Fatales is co-hosting a filmmaker dinner at the Hot Docs Film Festival, as well as at a handful of meetings across the country. Read on for more event details, industry opportunities from our Parity Pipeline Initiative, and upcoming releases of feature films directed by members of Film Fatales.
